The Band...

Dave Kisch, is the “quietly rebellious” Camden boy, and the band’s Singer and Rhythm Guitarist. He went to the same school as Jonny Borrell (Razorlight), Orlando Weeks (Maccabees), Crispian Mills (Kula Shaker), Jonny Hassall (Libertines) and DJ Yoda, and picked up guitar at university inspired by The Strokes, Oasis, The Verve and Arcade Fire. A massive music fan whose natural habitat is Live music clubs, open mic nights and festivals, where he can share his passion and thirst for new music, Dave is also known for plugging tourists about their local music scene in his day job as a London Tourist Guide.
Along with Pete Doherty, he shares an enthusiasm for Queens Park Rangers and is also a member of the Pie N’ Mash Club. After playing his first exhilerating solo set at an Open Mic night, Dave knew that he had to pursue the music bug - seeking to perfect strong melodies, harmonies and lyrics. Current faves include the Bombay Bicycle Club and Seattle’s Band Of Horses, as well as leading bands such as Radiohead and Muse.

Hugh Stirzaker, hails from West London, and is the band’s Bassist and “soul brother”, having cut his teeth playing in a blues bands and playing with Hip Hop artist, Klumzy Tung.  Hugh’s guitarist cousin (who played with Jamiroquai) bought him his first bass guitar and the pair started jamming together and did a couple of shows.
Hugh cites his best experience with the band as playing the Proud Gallery, it being their biggest show so far, and the one where other musicians swopped experiences and tips. A huge Live Music Open mic fan like Dave, Hugh spends much of his time checking out and playing at underground clubs such as the Earl Of Camden, Spice Of LIfe and Lock 17.
Hugh combines playing bass with being a part-time pastry chef (who trained under Michael Roux at Le Gavroche and Lords Of The Manor), and has met Ian Brown, Lee Evans and resisted “gobbing” into a Club Sandwich ordered by Liam Gallagher on his culinary travels.

Ben Butcher, originally from Cambridge but now firmly esconced in North London is the self-taught Lead Guitarist,  whose early love for The Cure, The Doves and Joy Division incited him to start playing guitar obsessively aged fifteen.
The band’s IT expert, Ben is unflappable having driven home to get an amp to play a recent gig at the Dublin Castle while the rest of the band were playing the first song!  He is
also a massive trainer fan having amassed 15 pairs of his beloved Adidas ZX 700’s, and has even travelled to the original Adidas store in New York to design his own unique pair. Now branching into songwriting, Ben’s current music likes are Bloc Party, Temper Trap and Mumford & Sons.

Alex Ngo was inspired early on by Guns N Roses, Led Zepplin and Metallica, and felt compelled to take up drumming at the age of eleven. He met Ben whilst rehearsing next door, and the pair hit it off, ending up going to Glastonbury together that summer where they were fated to meet up with mates Dave and Hugh to form Revelin Sky.
Alex admits to ‘old school” music loves like The Cure, The Smiths, Oasis and Radiohead, and drumming heroes such as The Who’s Keith Moon and Led Zepplin’s John Bonham. Meeting the band’s producer, Ian Davenport has further inspired Alex to take more risks musically as he strives to carve an intensity second to none.
